We've got a great line up of special events in Millport this August, starting with Millport's own Country Music Festival on 19th and 20th of August. Started in 1995 as the Millport Country and Western Weekend, 25 years on, the festival has gone from strength to strength, featuring country music artists from Scotland, across the UK, Ireland and the US. Weekend tickets for the Country Music Festival are now SOLD OUT; however, do not despair, as one day tickets for the Saturday are still available, giving you access to 23 artists from Noon Saturday until the end of Drake White's set at around 7.30pm.
Make sure to visit us at Jolene's Gin Joint during the Country Music Festival. Located in a tent on the Garrison Grounds, we will serving up gin & tonics of all four of our gorgeous island gins! Open until 10pm Friday and Saturday. We will also be open in the distillery shop for sales and for £5 gin tastings Friday and Saturday. Buy a 70cl bottle of any of our gins and your tasting is FREE. And if you are staying on for the Sunday, make sure to book a space on one of our full gin tours and tastings, at 12:30pm or 2:00pm.
The Scooter Rally weekend is also back, 26th and 27th August, with enthusiasts travelling to the island from all over the UK to share their passion with fellow scooter riders. The weekend features live music in a number of local bars and venues, including the DA Hall and Garrison House marquee. The event also includes a custom show and scooterist market, and of course, the hugely popular scooter ride out where you will be able to see all the spectacular scooters riding together.
