The terms outlined below govern how we (Isle of Cumbrae Distillers Ltd.) offer our goods for sale to you from this website. By submitting an order you are agreeing to do so under the following conditions:
You must be 18 years or over to attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages from this website. It is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol if you are under the age of 18.
If you are buying our spirit as a gift, the recipient must also be over 18 years of age. It is entirely the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the alcohol is not distributed to minors after delivery is received.
Our couriers are instructed as part of due diligence to ask for proof of age of the recipient on delivery. If proof of age cannot be verified our couriers are instructed to refuse delivery.
On receipt of delivery, the ownership is transferred to the purchaser.
2. Prices & Payment
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling, and may be per bottle or per case or per item, as noted on the product pages. The prices include UK duty and VAT at a rate of 20%, unless otherwise stated. Any delivery charges are additional to the unit price quoted and are added at the check out screen before finalising payment.
We reserve the right to terminate any special offers at anytime, without notice.
3. Availability Issues
If we are unable to dispatch a particular part of your order for reasons including but not limited to, availability, quality control, inputting error, we will endeavour to contact you in advance of shipping to offer refund or replacement.
4. Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy
If you have made a mistake during you order, let us know as soon as possible, ideally before we ship it out and we will cancel or change the order and refund you any money. If you change your mind within the legal 14 days cooling off period after placing the order, let us know in writing and as soon as possible to email@example.com then return the unopened product and we will refund the value of the product, less any shipping costs incurred.
We will process any refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days from the day you have given us notice of cancellation in writing.
If a glass breakage has occurred during transit, we would ask that you let us know within three days of the courier delivering the item(s) to you. We will then ask you to return the original package along with any other affected bottles via the same courier allowing for a full complaints procedure record. We will then reimburse you for the item(s) returned including courier costs or send a replacement if preferred.
